Here’s the truth about Facebook ads
You won't build your business by boosting posts.
If you've tried boosting posts, my guess is that you've been disappointed with the results. I haven't met a business owner who has gotten a single sale from a boosted post - this is not a way to get more sales. The reason they don't work is they're the wrong type of ads.
You need a proven strategy to achieve success quickly.
Shooting in the dark trying to figure out a Facebook ads strategy on your own will not only cause agonizing frustration and a surefire way to flush advertising dollars down the drain, but also months or years of lost revenue.
Chasing 5¢ clicks will ruin your business.
Getting 5¢ clicks doesn't do you any good if no one is making a purchase. You're not in business to get clicks and virtual window shoppers, you're in business to make money. It's much better to have $2 clicks if those people buy things on your site vs 5¢ clicks and no one buys anything.
Almost none of Facebook's "recommended" settings are good for anyone but Facebook.
Facebook has a vested interest in making it easy for you to spend money. They know their ad platform is complicated, so they try to simplify it by showing you "recommended" settings. The problem is, these settings have been tested with big companies with huge advertising budgets. Those same tactics won't work for small businesses with under 20 employees.
